Update

Last Friday I went to Bodega Bay to watch the effects of the tsunami on the California coast. It was weird to watch the water surge in and out of the bay in 5-7 minute intervals. It was like high tide to low tide in a few minutes. This of course is nothing compared to the devastation in Japan.

The wildlife seemed a little confused with the raising and lowering of the water so fast that they seemed to ignore me as I approached them. Usually egrets are very easily spooked.

I was also privileged to go to the Calvi ranch again and take more photographs of their natural paradise. Thanks Calvis!

Just dusted off all my ham radio equipment. Sometiimes it takes a big wake up call to remember to get things in order. It all works.

Tomorrow  Helen and I will be going to southern California to visit her parents and family. Looking forward to seeing them. It's been a couple of years for me.
